I like the idea of have the space in the middle of the numbers all clear. It makes it easy to read and is effective because of the 3d triangles but its also simple.
The other idea which i thought could work was having the remaining cut out placed in its original position but thought it wasn't as effective as the first. It does make it easy to read, but not as powerful.
The other idea was to have the "100" in a 3d style as shown with the number "1". I did like the idea but thought i was over-doing it.
I prefer having the space in between empty. So i experimented with that idea and placed it on black card. having black card as the background made it easier to see and makes it more powerful. Because the project is all about celebrating 100 years of gfsmith paper, i have used 2 colours for balloons. I didn't want to over-do it by place lots of balloons. Having 2/3 would make it simple and effective.
