Looking closely at letter forms and how scoring is a great way of showing this. I started off by simply drawing out the letter shape and making dashed towards the parts i wish to score. Having scored in between the letter, it shows a 3d form which also has a 2d effect, because it may be placed flat on the floor. I simply bent the scores to create the solid effect of the scores.
This idea came about from looking at the 3d triangles i created, so i decided to create a similar style but with the letter forms. I thought corners of letters with be difficult to create but, practicing made perfect.
